    Mark your targets

    Hard marks get the full ledger. Soft marks get a launch hold only. Exempt apps (phone, maps, wallet) stay untouchable.

  2. 02

    Hold, then The Tab

    A countdown before every marked open. Time spent accrues debt; close the app and it goes to collection with a 50% Vig markup.

  3. 03

    Pay or get locked out

    When collection is due, marked apps are blocked — Guillotine close, grainy grey overlay, no appeal until the balance drops.

    Browse in The Web

    Full browser with Google search. A mega-list blocks known time-sinks; AI spot-checks the rest so product lookups load while binges get locked.

    AI-scored good pages land under Recent (one link per site). Save anything else with the bookmark toolbar. Open The Ledger →

The Web

A full browser — list gate, then AI spot-check

Chrome is the classic loophole. The Web is The Vig’s own full web browser: Google search built in, shortcuts from your whitelist, and normal link-following — with a two-stage gate. Known time-sinks die on a multi-million-domain list first; everything else loads while AI watches for real binges — not a one-off product lookup.

  • Whitelist trusted domains — they skip scanning entirely
  • Mega-list hard-blocks score > 6, meters social (score 6) to a short visit, and rewrites YouTube/Google to child-safe endpoints

Bookmarks — your home base in The Web

The Ledger is where The Web starts: **Recent** (AI-scored good pages — one link per site) and bookmarks. Browse reports stay in the app.

  • Recent: only pages the AI rates 6+, most recent first, one entry per host
  • Tap bookmark in the toolbar to save the current page
  • Whitelisted domains show up as shortcuts automatically
